Customer: Yes, we named our baby "Maybe".
Pharm Friend: Interesting. Why Maybe?
Customer: 'Cause maybe it was going to be a girl.
Pharm Friend: ...

Every Clever Title I Can Think Of Has The Word "Porno" In It

Prescription medications cost money. How much money? It depends. Who pays for it? It depends. How many different ways can people complain about it? I'm here to tell you I've lost count. Today's customer, however, used a new term to explain her exasperation. When I quoted her the amount of her medication (~$60, which is pretty low considering it was a medication to save her life and many people pay far more than that), she exclaimed, "The cost is just pornographic! My congressman is going to hear about it today!" Your congressman is going to hear about the pornographic cost of prescription drugs? Well, now that it's been described that way, perhaps I'll give my congressperson a call as well.
